A scar, a pimple, a birthmark, a blotchy complexion... all imperfections that can be corrected or camouflaged with the help of appropriate corrective care products.
CAUSES OF SKIN SPOTS AND IMPERFECTIONS
Skin imperfections are very diverse and look very different. Certain imperfections are innate. They are therefore called birthmarks. They can be poorly pigmented and therefore light-colored, or have a coffee-and-milk color, or they can also be red (angiomas). Other imperfections include acquired dermatoses:
The benign, but disfiguring white spots in vitiligo (local disappearance of the skin pigment) are especially noticeable on tanned skin.
Brown spots, on the other hand, are due to an overdose of the sun. They are more common during pregnancy, hence the name pregnancy mask, but can also occur in non-pregnant women and sometimes even in men.
Certain skin conditions on the face (couperose, rosacea...) can improve thanks to a specific treatment, but without completely disappearing.
Acne is very common and deserves a separate mention. It often happens that certain acne pimples leave long-lasting residual lesions, especially if they are large, deep pimples or if they are constantly tampered with.
All procedures from dermatological surgery or plastic surgery that are applied to the face can be followed by a difficult period in which the wound healing is not yet completely completed. These temporary imperfections also deserve the necessary attention. Finally, there are certain more serious skin conditions (ichtyosis, severe burns...) that require corrective makeup.
PREVENTION
-
first of all, early and effective treatment of inflammatory skin diseases; then good UV protection is also important. Most pigment spots are either triggered or aggravated by the sun. Correct UV protection is, therefore, a good guarantee against stains. Opt for products with a high protection factor, which covers a broad spectrum of rays and whose galenic form is well adapted to the skin and offers good remanence.

Avoid wounds: It is not always easy, but at the very least one must ensure that no new wounds arise as a result of endless tinkering with the skin. Whether it's itching or tics, once our nails get close to our skin, there's a high risk of permanent damage.
- Scars: When a wound has to be stitched or a lesion removed, it is important that this is done according to the rules of dermatological surgery so that the often unavoidable scars are as inconspicuous as possible.
Despite all these precautions, it still happens that imperfections could not be prevented or were insufficiently treated with the means that we have available today.
Especially in these cases, corrective make-up is a very interesting tool.
Dermo-cosmetic care products: Well-tolerated hygiene and care products help to limit irritation due to hypersensitivity or allergies to ingredients that are often used in cosmetics.
Dermatological Makeup: Corrective makeup is an important tool in the dermatologist's arsenal. Whether it is a transient situation (after dermatological surgery) or permanent imperfections, with the right make-up technique one can achieve truly surprising results. Concealers
